16mm Wednesdays: Nanook of the North

16mm Wednesdays: Nanook of the North

We'll be celebrating Native American/ Ingenous Heritage Month for the next TWO weeks! First up is the 1922 classic "Nanook of the North." This hugely influential documentary by Robert Flagherty follows the lives of an Inuit family living in the Arctic, and illustrates how they survive both because of and despite their harsh conditions.

Stop by the MMB screening room, this event is open and no RSVP is required!
